Office Blinds

Since the pandemic started over a year ago, we have seen a huge rise in home offices made up in spare bedrooms, summer houses/offices and conservatories – basically anywhere with a bit extra space.

How do you like to work? Is it during the early hours of the morning where the glare from the sun can become a nuisance? Wooden and aluminium venetians are great for controlling how much light gets in, you can simply adjust the slats to make sure the light doesn’t create a glare on your screen.

Would you prefer having no light coming in? Then consider going for either dark or blackout blinds where it can block out a lot of the light. Alternatively, you can go for romans which are made out of thicker fabric and it can help keep you warmer.

Vertical Blinds

Verticals are great for offices, they offer protection from the sun, especially with the blackout lining option, however they still offer you control in how much you want to let in. You can simply adjust the slats using the blind wand and you can pull the chain to open the blinds up completely. Vertical blinds are especially suited for large windows or doors but are still a great option for all window types.

Roller Blinds

Roller blinds are a popular choice in any room due to its versatility and huge range of designs to choose from. You can get blackout options that block out the light completely. Alternatively, if you’re looking for something to just block out the glare but still want the bright light in the room then choose thinner and lighter fabrics. Roller blinds are ideal for any home office as they’re easy to maintain and are more affordable. Great for those on a budget and need something for their office.

Day & Night Blinds

Day & Night blinds are a great choice for those looking for something similar to a roller blind but that has more control on how much light you want to let in. It has two layers of striped fabric that can be moved to create the optimal light to privacy ratio that you desire. The translucent layer can help take the worst of the glare away and leave you with lovely light in the room to help you focus.
